Some people think, even natives of our destination, that in order to find pristine beaches in Puerto Vallarta you have to take a boat and travel to a relatively remote beach of our city, however, this is not true and there is Conchas Chinas to prove it.

Conchas Chinas is a fascinating, charming little beach located just five minutes from Puerto Vallarta downtown, to the south. To reach this area, you just have to take a bus that goes to the south and after two kilometers you will reach the signs of the beach that is surrounded by hills and jungle, aside from a beautiful turquoise emerald in its water on white sand beach.

Conchas Chinas is a perfect beach to go with the family for the kindness wave which is tamed by a lot of rocks that exist in this area, and where live a lot of urchins, crabs and, of course, shells that gave the name to this special beach (Conchas Chinas means Chinese Shells). In fact, due to the rocks, you will find natural pools where you can spend relaxing moments in a natural jacuzzi.

This is definitely one of the cleanest and safest beaches of our destination. Do not travel far from the city to be in a beach worthy of a postcard, just go to Conchas Chinas.

Hay quienes piensan, incluso nativos de nuestro destino, que para encontrar playas cristalinas en Puerto Vallarta tienes que montarte en una panga y viajar a playas relativamente alejadas de nuestra ciudad, sin embargo, no es así, y ahí está Conchas Chinas para probarlo.

Conchas Chinas es una fascinante, pequeña y encantadora playa ubicada a tan sólo cinco minutos del centro de Puerto Vallarta, hacia la zona sur. Para llegar a esta zona del puerto, se debe tomar la carretera a Barra de Navidad con dirección a Mismaloya, después de dos kilómetros te encontrarás con los señalamientos para bajar al mar y disfrutar de esta playa que se encuentra rodeada por cerros y jungla, además de un hermoso color esmeralda turquesa en sus aguas sobre la playa de arenas blancas.

Conchas Chinas es una playa perfecta para ir con la familia por la amabilidad del oleaje que es amansado por una gran cantidad de rocas que existen en esta zona, y en las cuales viven una gran cantidad de erizos, cangrejos y, por supuesto, conchas que fue lo que le dio el nombre a esta especial playa. De hecho, debido a las rocas, te encontrarás con pilas naturales donde puedes pasar relajantes momentos dentro de un jacuzzi natural.

Esta es, definitivamente, una de las playas más limpias y seguras de nuestro destino. No viajes muy lejos del puerto para encontrarte con una playa digna de postal, sólo ve a Conchas Chinas.

Bandera’s Bay is politically divided by two states Jalisco and Nayarit; such division is marked by the Ameca River which ends at the Bay. Being the biggest and deepest of Mexico reaching about 3,000 meters of depth and it’s the second biggest of North America.

The bright solar light and its clear blue waters makes the ideal conditions to enjoy an infinite of water activities such as parasailing, surf, water diving, snorkeling, sport fishing, water photography, and many more.

Mexico is one of the five countries with the most biological diversity in the world. This natural bay being so rich with sea life of which visitors can discover by taking the Eco-Tours that are offered, without doubt the one with the most impact is the humpback whale watching tour, among one of the most important is the turtle release program which is held a few meters from the beach at sundown.
